We are located 45 miles North of downtown Chicago and 35 miles South of Milwaukee.  From either city, it’s a quick trip on Interstate 94.

Get Directions

From the South:  Go North on the Kennedy (94W) to the Edens Tollway. Continue North, through two toll plazas, and exit Rosecrans Road/Route 173.  Head East.  We are eight-tenths of a mile East of Highway 41 on the South side of the road.  (Hint: when you see the railroad crossing sign, hit your turn signal!)

From the North:  Go South on 94 (94E).  When you approach the Illinois/Wisconsin border, get in the far left lane and exit onto Highway 41 South toward Waukegan.  Stay in the left lane and turn left at the first stop light onto Rosecrans Road/Route 173.  We are eight-tenths of a mile East of Highway 41 on the South side of the road.  (Hint: when you see the railroad crossing sign, hit your turn signal!)

From anywhere else West:  Go East until you run into Interstate 94 (Hint: if you hit Lake Michigan, you’ve gone too far.  Say “Whoa!” and turn around.)  Determine whether you’re North or South of Rosecrans/Route 173 and follow the appropriate directions above.

From anywhere else East:  Go West until you run into Interstate 94 (Hint: if you cross the border to Iowa, you’ve gone too far.  Say “Whoa!” and turn around.)  Determine whether you’re North or South of Rosecrans/Route 173 and follow the appropriate directions above.

Get here by train: Afraid you’ll be too worn out to drive home?  The Metra Union Pacific North Line runs 7 days a week to Zion, Illinois.  The Metra North Central Service runs Monday through Friday to Antioch, Illinois.  For train schedules go to http://www.metrarail.com/.
