For Our Horses

Your horses are our most important customers and get 24-hour attention at Double Lucky Ranch.  The owners and the property manager live on the property and a professional horse person is available to assist you from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week.  We’re even open holidays – horses deserve presents too!

Our ranch has the following:

• 57 extra large 12’ x 12’ rubber matted stalls in a heated barn with wide aisles, cleaned daily
     
  
• Two heated wash racks with hot and cold water
• 7 all-weather paddocks and 14 paddocks for all day turnout (more paddocks on the way!)

Nutrena® SafeChoice™ is fed twice daily. We use only first-cut grass hay which is fed three times daily.  Amounts are customized for each horse, with consideration given to each horse’s special nutritional and weight requirements.

All horses are carefully paired with pasture buddies for all day turnout in one of our large paddocks.  On rainy days or in bad weather, the horses are rotated through 7 paddocks with all-weather footing.

Private turnout, blanket changing, hoof picking, boots, medication and other special services are available for an additional charge.
